The Romans


Greetings from The Romans. You’re meeting us inside our first official year as a MENA agency. We’re new, but set out to build the most disruptive, exciting PR agency in the region. In a little over twelve months, we think we’ve made a strong start. When Joe Lipscombe took on The Romans, there were no clients, no leads, no revenue, and no team. He had a single laptop, big ambition, and no clue how to use Excel. 

So he did the smart thing — found exceptional people willing to jump on the crazy train and help shake up the industry. Together we're building a positioning and approach seldom seen in PR anywhere, let alone in MENA: product and people over profit, young and nimble yet working with giants, creatively challenging tradition, and improving the industry through diversity and representation. From $0 to $3m, from scratching at projects to running the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, from one human to a creative hub of 15. This is chapter one of The Romans MENA
